Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most famous role is Skyler White in the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014. Both awards were for Outstanding Supporting actress in Drama Series. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell into acting The Preparatory School before moving with her family to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna was a part of Chicago's theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television roles. In 1992 Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden in the 29th episode from Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent actor in both film and TV including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008 she was also cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also in her professional career. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She played the role in the podcast's four-part audio drama Numbered days, which was released in 2022. The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative that is told in Breaking Bad with the strained attraction between the couple and its eventual demise arguably reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's end of life.
